Each painting in this series is open to personal interpretation, but here’s a little inside peek into my thinking behind each one.
After lunch, when his owners popped out, James jumped onto a chair and then onto the kitchen table, where he ate everything he could find.
He thought he’d tidied up after himself, licking the plates clean and all the crumbs off the table.
His owners have just arrived home, and from their tone of voice, James is now thinking perhaps he hasn’t gotten away with it, maybe it was the plate he licked off the edge of the table and broke on the floor that gave the game away…
