The Open Studio isn't lessons or a curriculum. It's a small group of working artists who meet once a month, say what they're stuck on, share what's working or what's not and leave with a plan.
It's run by me, Jo, a full-time working artist for the past 15+ years. Created to inspire, encourage and generate a thriving and knowledgeable community of happy artists!

A small Group Session, every month, for as long as your membership runs. Can't make it? A replay is sent afterwards.
⏰ Two call times to choose from 10am or 7pm GMT
Pick whichever slot suits your month - work, family, or just your energy that week. Swap between them whenever you need to.

What you say you'll do on the call gets written down. Next time, we check in on it together
ON THE CALL - You say what's going on, what's working, and what's stuck. We talk it through as a group.
BEFORE YOU GO - You name one or two things you'll actually do before next time. These go on your list.
NEXT MONTH - We check in on your list first, before anything else. Then it starts again.
1:1 ACCESS TO ME - If you need it, contact me directly between calls, we have a private web and chat area, rather than having to wait for the next session.
I started this group because people were coming to me and asking questions about selling greeting cards to trade customers and how I ran my commission work. When I started out I had some very generous help from other artists and this seemed a good way to pay that generosity forward.
It can be lonely working as a creative, my husband is a great listener but does he get excited over a new sketchbook or some inktense pencils? No he does not.
It is not my intention to run this group as a revenue stream and that is reflected in the price, I just need to cover my costs and a contribution towards my time and that is reflected in the price. It will be £36 for a 6 month Membership (Jan-Jun 2027), there's a limit of 20 members and it will go onsale after Christmas to anyone who has registered their interest first.
