Since all events over the summer have been cancelled or postponed I’m very much looking forward to and focusing on this event in October which will hopefully go ahead, if it’s postponed again then I’ll let you know, but I’m being optimistic and planning lots of lovely new works for it!

Forest and Rivers Open, farOpen, first established in 1995,  is a nine day art trail, for artists, makers and creative businesses to open studios, galleries and group exhibitions. The aim is to raise artists’ profiles, sell artwork and make people aware of the diversity of talent, both professional and amateur, in this fabulous part of Britain.

farOpen is a volunteer-led, not for profit organisation, run for and by artists and supporters of the arts in the Forest of Dean, along the Wye and the Severn. It is funded by artists’ subscriptions and our brochure advertisers.

The farOpen Art Trail is an invaluable asset to the arts ecology of the Forest, encouraging visits by locals and tourists alike.
