I grew up with dogs, it's safe to say I've always loved hanging out with a dog and I now own a dog.
But do you remember a moment in your life when you realised your love of dogs was above average?
I do
I was in a house share, one of my friends came back from a family holiday and there were photos to look through, the kids were very cute, I smiled and oohed and aahed in all the right places.
The very last photo was of a German Shepherd puppy (his brother's new dog) I shrieked at the top of my voice:
'Oh my God, he's gorgeous!', 'Look at those Ears', 'Oh isn't he the cutest!?' (more shrieking)
'WHY didn't you tell me he'd got a dog!?!
I can still see the look on my friend's face, 'Wow!' he said 'I guess you really love dogs don't you!'
There are plenty of other giveaways to my status as a crazy dog lady, I'll sit on the floor rather than disturb the dog in the chair, I'll talk to other dogs I meet in the street first before even looking at their owners and my favourite being I've made an entire business out of my love of dogs and art
